Many of us belong to communities that share common beliefs, practices, and history. Communities may be faith-based, governmental, academic, scientific, political, or simply share a common identity, culture, neighborhood, interest, or cause. Life History Services has assisted a wide variety of communities to gather and preserve their shared history, culture, and hopes for the future. Preserving broader themes and stories through multiple voices and first-hand testimonies captures history that otherwise may remain untold or forgotten. Some of the community organizations we have served include:
- The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco
- The Solana Beach Presbyterian Church
- Temple Emanu-El, San Francisco, California
- The Community Support Network, Madison, Wisconsin
- The Lead Belt Jewish Oral History Association, Southeast Missouri Lead Belt District
- New York State Archives
- The Wisconsin State Historical Society
- The George Mosse Humanities Program, University of Wisconsin-Madison
- The School of Social Work, University of Wisconsin-Madison
- The USC Shoah Foundation, Los Angeles, California & Berlin, Germany
- Freie Universität, Center for Digital Systems, Berlin, Germany
